I teach high school students Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry (and occasionally Biology).
What does it mean to you to integrate science and equity?
I am working toward equity in my classes in both the way I build knowledge with my students, and in the topics we investigate. My current goals and struggles involve the best ways to balance student voice and freedom with structures to support students in their learning.
